Lionheart LH9: Superior Quality You Can't Ignore

It is no surprise that the Lionheart LH9 is my new favorite pistol. There is a reason for this that only people who own these pistols can understand. Few people who own them can deny the quality or help but to love the pistol for a variety of reasons.The trigger is a huge reason for the love of this pistol. The safety on this pistol is one of the misunderstood parts of this pistol. The thing that needs to be understood is that the trigger is basically a glorified 1911 or SA trigger, making it slightly unsafe to not use the safety.
When you first look at the LH9, It has a strong and unmistakable resemblance to the S&W 5906. With that, it also is noticed to have similar design features inspired by several different designs. You will notice that the lockup portion of the barrel is taken from the classic Browning Hi Power. also some of the trigger mechanism is similar in design to the Beretta 92 series. The grip is also like a Walther P-38. For the most part, these are also design features in the S&W 5906. This is not a bad thing because the S&W 5906 actually had alot of merit in its general design.
Let us not forget that the first thing that gives a gun its worth is what it is made of. The LH9 takes after the DP-51 with its forged frame,slide, and barrel. Understand that the forging process is an expensive process because of the effort it takes to roll the steel over itself over and over instead of just dropping it in a mold and leaving the metal to have only gravity and it's weight to help compress it and give it strength. For this reason, the DP-51 and the LH9 are way superior in terms of service life, making the price of them amazing as well.
The big improvement is the trigger system. Instead of taking after the Beretta safety system, Daewoo uses a frame safety that is backwards. This is actually quite an intuitive system. The  safety is similar to the 1911 with the same general purpose. It has been bashed as being weird, I feel that people misunderstand the value in it and the general purpose it serves. Sometimes, 1911 safeties can get in the way or be engaged accidentally when you are using the gun. With this system, the safety needs an intentional effort, though not much, enough to be good for not activating accidentally.
As with most users of this pistol, you will probably find it to have the same merit that I myself found in it. It negates the need for a long, heavy trigger pull with a single action trigger disguised as a double action. This gives the inherent safety feature of giving you what is really important about the double action, which is the distance of pull, not the weight.
The next thing I want to bring to everyone's attention is the fact that the pistol holds the hardcore durability and ruggedness of the aluminum frame and chromoly steel slide and barrel, but still comes in at a total weight comparable to the Glock series of pistols, which is actually quite an achievement if you think about it. What other metal framed guns this size do you know of that match the Glock size and weight. I know of none myself.
I could write and write about why the LH9 is worth your dollars. The making of it is only part of it. The company is partnered with other companies as well to help offer a very revolutionary way of selling a firearm to the public at a decent price. They ship their pistols treated with Frog Lube from the factory, a cleaning kit with a sample of Frog Lube, a durable nylon case, and a nice folded up instruction manual with little details on how to keep the gun running. The one gripe I have, along with everyone I know is the fact that you only get one magazine with the gun. I always need at least two mags with my guns, if they are going to be used in a serious role. Other than that, I  feel that the price is right with the full combination, minus the lack of a second mag. Regardless, I feel that Lionheart has a solid product worth looking into.Who knows, you may also feel like making it your new carry gun like I have.
